Share and Assign Mystery Science Lessons

Overview

This one is for teachers using Mystery Science with students.

Create your account using the join link from your school's welcome email, or log in with your existing credentials.
Set your grade levels: click your name in the top right, go to Account & Membership, scroll to Profile, select the grades you teach, and click Save. This is what determines which lessons show up for you.
Share a lesson: click Share on the lesson video (or at the bottom of a mini lesson), choose which parts to include, then Copy Link and send it to students. Students can't create their own accounts, the link is how they get in.
Assign through Google Classroom: open the Share section on a lesson, click Assign this lesson, choose your classroom, add instructions, and click Assign. Worksheets and assessments need an extra Google Drive copy step, which is explained in the assignment flow.
Other supported classroom tools include Seesaw, Schoology, Canvas, Clever, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet, each with its own share option.

Lessons don't match your grade? Double check your grade levels are set correctly under Account & Membership.
Students can't open the shared link? Make sure you copied the full link after choosing which lesson parts to share.
