BenQ Panels: NFC Card Setup & Audio Troubleshooting
This guide covers NFC card pairing for BenQ interactive panels and how to resolve common audio/static issues.
NFC Card Setup
BenQ panels support NFC cards that let you instantly load your personal settings, accounts, and files when you tap your card on the panel.
Requesting an NFC Card
- Submit a help desk ticket requesting a BenQ NFC card
- Include your name and which classroom/panel you primarily use
- IT will program the card and deliver it to you
Using Your NFC Card
- Tap your NFC card on the NFC sensor area on the front bezel of the BenQ panel (usually bottom-center)
- The panel will automatically log you in and load your personal environment
- When finished, tap your card again to log out, or simply walk away — the session will time out
NFC Card Not Working?
- Make sure you're tapping on the correct spot (the NFC icon on the panel bezel)
- Hold the card steady for 2-3 seconds
- If the panel doesn't respond, restart it by pressing and holding the power button
- Submit a ticket if your card is consistently not recognized — it may need to be reprogrammed
Audio & Static Troubleshooting
No Sound from BenQ Panel
- Check the volume — press the volume up button on the panel remote or side buttons
- Make sure audio output is set to the panel's internal speakers (Settings → Audio)
- If using HDMI, verify the source device's audio output is set to HDMI
- Try a different HDMI cable or port
Static, Buzzing, or Crackling Audio
- HDMI source: Disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable. Try a different HDMI port on the panel.
- Bluetooth audio: Unpair and re-pair the Bluetooth device. Move the source device closer to the panel.
- Aux/3.5mm input: Check for a loose connection. Try a different aux cable.
- Persistent static: This may indicate a hardware issue — submit a ticket noting which input source produces the static.
Audio Delay or Lip-Sync Issues
- If audio is out of sync with video, try switching from Bluetooth to a wired connection
- Restart the panel and the source device
