🔄 For Regular Updates (Windows 10 or 11)

Based on Updating your PC1:

1. Click the Windows button (bottom-left corner of your screen).
2. Open Settings.
3. Type “update” in the search bar and select Windows Update Settings.
4. Click “Check for Updates” — even if it says “You’re Up to Date,” updates may still be pending.
5. Install any available updates.
6. Restart your PC once updates are installed.
7. For advanced users:
   • Go to Advanced Options > Additional Options.
   • Check for Driver Updates, select them, and click Download & Install.

🆙 For Upgrading to Windows 11

From Windows 10 end of Life and Microsoft Support23:

1. Check System Requirements:
   • Use the https://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-11#pchealthcheck?ocid=smc_marvel_ups_support_win11.
   • Requirements include TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, 4GB RAM, and a compatible processor.
2. Back Up Your Files before upgrading.
3. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
4. Click “Check for Updates”.
5. If eligible, you’ll see the option to Download and Install Windows 11.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions and restart when prompted.
