✅ Step-by-Step Guide to Update Windows
🔄 For Regular Updates (Windows 10 or 11)
Based on Updating your PC1:
- Click the Windows button (bottom-left corner of your screen).
- Open Settings.
- Type “update” in the search bar and select Windows Update Settings.
- Click “Check for Updates” — even if it says “You’re Up to Date,” updates may still be pending.
- Install any available updates.
- Restart your PC once updates are installed.
- For advanced users:
- Go to Advanced Options > Additional Options.
- Check for Driver Updates, select them, and click Download & Install.
🆙 For Upgrading to Windows 11
From Windows 10 end of Life and Microsoft Support23:

Check System Requirements:
- Use the https://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-11#pchealthcheck?ocid=smc_marvel_ups_support_win11.
- Requirements include TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, 4GB RAM, and a compatible processor.
- Back Up Your Files before upgrading.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click “Check for Updates”.
- If eligible, you’ll see the option to Download and Install Windows 11.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and restart when prompted.
