What is Securly Classroom?
Securly Classroom is a classroom management tool built into every RCS student device. It gives teachers real-time visibility and control over what students are doing on their screens — without leaving the front of the room.
If you were part of the Spring 2026 pilot or are getting started for the first time, this page has everything you need.
Day-to-Day Teacher Features
These are the tools you will actually use every class period:
- Start a Class Session — activate monitoring for your class roster
- View Student Screens — see a live thumbnail of every student device at once
- Push a Website — open the same URL on all student devices simultaneously
- Lock Screens — pause all devices for attention or instructions
- Close Off-Task Tabs — remotely close a distracting tab on a student device
- Set Focus Time — restrict browsing to approved sites for a set period
- Message a Student — send a private on-screen message to a specific student
